Reviews for Fancy Girl Farms
Review highlights
Based on 330 reviewsFancy Girl Farms is widely praised for its high-quality, generously portioned food offered at reasonable prices, making it a favored dining destination in Hahira, GA. Visitors consistently highlight the fresh, flavorful dishes and attentive, friendly service. The unique combination of a restaurant, gift shop, and farmers market adds to its appeal, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. While the setting is often described as pleasant and scenic, frequent crowding and noise during peak times can affect the dining experience. Despite occasional waits for seating, guests appreciate the overall ambiance and look forward to returning, especially during less busy hours. The adjoining coffee shop is also noted as a charming complement to the main venue.
Awesome food and prices, so good in fact I had dessert as well. Portions are generous and quality is excellent. Service is well above average. Very popular spot and unfortunately it can get loud in the indoor dining areas depending on where you sit. Overall atmosphere is slightly chilly with lots of airflow even with large swaths of people it stays cool in 90F from my first visit. Will stop by again when looking for a meal, don’t let the amount a cars and size of building deter you. It’s got a lot of space for patrons.
Beautiful property! Loved the gift shop and the farmers market areas. The food was very good, but it was super busy and crowded and difficult to get into our seats. Look forward to trying it again sometime when it is not quite so busy on a weekend night.
“I had a wonderful experience at FGF! The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, making it a great place to unwind. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portion sizes at a very reasonable price. I’ll definitely be returning!”
This place is AWESOME. Although the wait was projected for an hour, it didn't seem like it because we hung out outside and the scenery and atmosphere is so relaxing. I ordered the kale Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. The portion was huge. There is also a nice coffee shop next to the restaurant and I hear that the coffee is really good also.
On a recent day trip we got to visit Fancy Girl Farms for lunch and some coffee. Aliyah was our server and was so helpful in navigating the menu and their summer specials. We had the fried chicken which is one of their signature meats. All of their sides are as fresh as can be. When we were here squash was in season and that was the seasonal side. I opted for the classic chicken pot pie but this was not your usual run of the mill pot pie. This was Grandma's pot pie elevated to the next level. Perfect flakey crust and a perfect mix of chicken and vegetables inside. After lunch, we tried their seasonal peaches and cream ice box cake. It was light and creamy with a crisp crust. In the coffee shop they serve Lucky Goat coffee which is one of my personal favorite coffee roasters. They also offer ice cream and other drink beverages.
We drove in a church bus over an hour to check out this farm-to-table restaurant, nursery and gardens. Nice people, good food and beautiful surroundings. The chicken fried steak was a bit overcooked. The shrimp dishes were very good. Pot pie was another good choice. Salads, as expected, were crisp and fresh.
Couple of minutes off the beaten path but well worth the two minute detour off of I 75 great service great prices. The food is excellent and a very unique experience. I think you would be very happy to jump off the interstate and have lunch here anytime.
We were told it would be an hour before we were seated and it ended up being only about 20 minutes!! We sat down and Katelyn (?) was our waitress!!
